@@peterdemaio2663 Gday peter I just added 1/2cup to this recipe! If you use white vinegar no need to add any water. Thanks for tuning in ! Let me know what olives you’re using too. I’d like to see what results people get with different ones . Cheers!

Thanks for the quick reply, the olives that I’m using I just nice big black round olives from one of my friends but the problem that I’ve got is that I’ve got 10 kg to do is it possible to do all in one bucket regards

Hi, I’ve finished the brine, what do you recommended to preserve the olives in a jar? I have approximately 6 kilos worth to preserve!!

Thank you for the quick reply, the olives that I’m Using a black round olives from my friends place which is a very old tree but the firm and black my problem is that I have 10 kg to do and this be achieved in a bucket e.g. 20 litre bucket regards Peter

100gr vinegar , 30gr Himalayan salt, 1/2 cup water

Wouldn’t it be wiser to make sure the olives are covered in the brine so that no mold can be produced? It thought that was the whole point of the brine process was to be a low maintenance way of preserving foods.

السلام عليكم، كيلو زيتون، ١٠٠ غرام خل تفاح، ٣٠ غرام ملح هملايا، غسلي الزيتون وضعيه في علبة محكمة الاغلاق مع الماء فقط، في مكان معتم وبارد، لمدة ٣ ايام، ثم صفي الزيتون من الماء تمام واضيفي الملح والخل وماء جديد، اتركيه في وعاء مغلق لمدة ٤ إلى ٨ اسابيع مع تحريكه مرة صباحا ومرة مساء كل يوم، بعد انتهاء ال٤ اسابيع ضعي عليه زيت الزيتون مع اعشابك المفضلة.
