How to bring an older horse back into work + SNOW DAY!
Oh baby, the weather finally cooperated letting me start the lengthy process of bringing Trin back into work (p.s. no one tell Trin I called her old). Here's to the slow and steady process of brining Trin back into work and building up her muscling the proper way. It's hard when it feels like everything else being posted is focused only on the upbringing of young horses, or the height of others competitive days...sometimes I feel like I'm all alone in my adventures with my own older horse. Now, I know that's not true, but sometimes it feels like it! So this progression of me bringing Trin back into work is for everyone of us that is figuring out how to do it with our aging ponies, and our mid-life crisis that are unfortunately occurring in our twenties!!!
