Hopefully they will fix this and add the editing parameters in a coming update

Did you drag 'n' drop all those Komplete Maschine/Battery samples into Logic by hand? Cheers :)

Yes, because unfortunately the logic DMD and quick sampler format is encrypted so there’s no way (that I know of) to convert them

@@iPadBeatMaking Wow! Some serious dedication, right there :) I'm trying to work out a good solution for getting the stuff onto iPad that isn't Logic-dependent. Love Logic on desktop, and might end up eventually using it on iOS also. But for the moment, I'm using BM3. The bigger problem is that I've only got 64GB space, so my thinking is to make EXS kits with the Komplete stuff. That means I can read them in Virsyn's Audiolayer. The biggest benefit of that is not only will I be able to use it in different DAW, but it allows cloud and external storage. It's just a lot of work, so might try AutoSampler to do it ;) Thanks, man!

AudioLayer is definitely a favorite of mine. I like that it can use externals or iCloud and Apple is pretty smart about how it automatically offloads iCloud stuff. Also, I’d consider using Sitala for drum samples kits. They can also be iCloud hosted, work bidirectionally AND can be auto created via their script app + kitmaker. I did a video on it also kzbin.info/www/bejne/lX-kl3-Ao76EmKs

@@iPadBeatMaking Thanks! Would be a solution, but it involves buying more apps. Since I already have use of SampleCrate, AudioLayer, Documents I'd rather try and keep within that system. Sitala seems great, but it can't run EXS instruments like AudioLayer. But then it all goes out the window when I want to access those kits in Koala on iPhone :) First-World problems, I know :)

@@iPadBeatMaking p.s Curious to hear what you think of Logic, and how it stacks up to your other DAW.
