Enjoyed the video! I use 90 grade gear oil nowadays. The lubing interval is about 100 kms shorter but it is a cheaper option and there is no spillover on the rims. I never worry about lubing too much as the excess oil drips off. Have maintained my chain and sprocket without changing for 24800 kms until now.

Hi Pal, I know you have created a video on all the tools a beginner should keep but what are the tools that you used to open the chain cover to clean the chain and both sprockets? I don't want to buy all of the tools that you mentioned in that video because I am completely illiterate when it comes to motorcycle DIY. So I just wanted to know what all to buy to be able to clean the chain properly.

Brush, chain cleaner and chain lube. And you don't even need disassemble soo many parts like in the video. Most importantly do not lube by keeping the in motion. If you don't do DIY get your bike to yamaha service centre once every 5k KMs and get it serviced there. You should be good with these.

Clean the chain. Adjust the slack. If front sprocket is worn change it. Check if sprocket alignment from both side is equal. And if this didn't solve then swing arm tyre needs to be check

Its not much. Its more at 120-125kph. At certain rpm any bike will have vibration.

Keep away from water as much as you can. Apply oil will prevent rust. Or clean and spray aerosol.

Yes trust me not required. I never got cleaned, i took to yamaha svc and mechanic told not required. But i still got cleaned and i see increase in acceleration. Some people got cleaned at 25 saw no difference. Injector does not get jam. Use carbon cleaner once or twice at 10k and its good to go.

Yamalube only good 2500 max 3000, dont take beyond that. Any fs engine oil change at 3000. Don't go for max kms if u want long lasting engine. Engine oil is like a blood. I'm gonna try veedol super swift 10w40. Its very good oil cheaper that fs. Its ss but work like fs

Don't try to lube chain by starting engine on. One of my friend lost his fingers due to this.
