Holy sh*#! As someone who is actively using your 27 chapter outline model RIGHT NOW, for the first time, for a fanfic that has been in my head for over 6 years but I couldn't figure out how to get it out until I stumbled upon your model, I never in a million years dreamed this would be the topic of your newest video. You are a goddess supreme in my eyes and I'm not even exaggerating.

I couldn’t be happier for you to be posting new writing content! I found your channel through your nano vlogs back in 2012 and I feel like we have been in the writing trenches “together” ever since. This is such a wonderful bit of support as I continue to try to keep up my writing life with a full time job.
@AbbeeRambles15 күн бұрын
I have used the 27 chapter method for every book I've written since I found this channel all those years ago. Sometimes I write an actual outline, sometimes I use the 27 point structure as a guideline for "headlights writing." Every time I start a new project in Scrivener the first thing I do is set it up with this structure.

I love this variation of the outline so much more. It actually does help explain what should happen during the plot points better, imo. Your original video has been a boon for many writers over the past 6 years, so of course so many of us are happy to see you back! Thank you for your advice and guidance. It is truly one of a kind!

I was just revisiting the original video when this appeared. I'm beyond ecstatic that you're back. Seriously.
@Itsjess1315 күн бұрын
I really hope you know, just HOW helpful this i!! Finding videos about writing is SO hard for me because no one give examples! I'm a person who needs those things to fully grasp a concept so you making a WHOLE SERIES outlining and writing and actually SHOWING us what you are doing and why is just amazing. Thank you so much! Also back in 2018 I wrote down your 27 chapter outline because I was attempting to write and I found it very helpful.

“Haunted tattoo” and “gladiator x warlock” videos were my go-to whenever I needed motivation in writing an idea I have (and the 3-act structure videos too). I’m so happy to see you posting again; I kind of fell off writing altogether when you left. Welcome back! I’m feeling inspired already ❤

I'm so glad that you are back to posting! I feel like in the years of 2017-2020, not many people were open about reading and writing, so I was really struggling to find a community. In the last few years, the increase in readers, people at local bookstores in my town, and writers being open about their work have skyrocketed, and it has made me so happy!! I feel like we can all finally step out of the shadows again! I would love to hear some recent book recommendations or authors you have been loving. I keep finding myself rereading old series and I want something fresh and new! I can't wait to see what 2025 has in store for you!

Yes!!! I'm so excited for this series! I've never successfully used an outline. I loved the idea of your 27 chapter structure, but I struggled to understand how to actually apply it to an idea.
