I have used the 27 chapter method for every book I've written since I found this channel all those years ago. Sometimes I write an actual outline, sometimes I use the 27 point structure as a guideline for "headlights writing." Every time I start a new project in Scrivener the first thing I do is set it up with this structure.

I love this variation of the outline so much more. It actually does help explain what should happen during the plot points better, imo. Yes!!! I'm so excited for this series! I've never successfully used an outline. I loved the idea of your 27 chapter structure, but I struggled to understand how to actually apply it to an idea.
