Thank you for another amazing video! What diameter and width is the wax wheel? Also is the wax wheel stitched and more than one wheel or put together? Thank you for all your help have a great weekend. -Paul

The wheel is unstitched and about and inch and half wide. Honestly I cant remember if I put two together, those things last seemingly forever. The diameter is 8"

Do you use odorless mineral spirits for grip solvent? Also do you ever recycle/reuse your grip solvent. Thanks again for all the great tips.

I use the grip solvent available from golf works. Florida Chemical also has/ had a similar product. both have and orange smell and the solvent is a bit better health wise than mineral spirits thanks

Great job, question on frequency. Do you order extra shafts and pick the ones that have similar frequency? I have never done frequency balance due to not having a machine. On a side note, I called around to all the shops in my area (Las Vegas) and none have a MOI machine and almost all said I was the first person to ever ask to measure the MOI of my clubs. Maybe a good topic for another day. Really enjoy your videos. Thanks

When using .370 tips it is typically not needed for extra shafts if you trim a little les than needed and then fine tune on the second cut. when using .355 it is a good idea to have extras. MOI is a tricky thing but I will look into how I can demonstrate the concept thanks

Good day Jim, I have a quick question for you. Do you use a special epoxy for graphite to steel shaft installation than you use with steel to steel? Love the channel, I've been watching your channel for quite some time now!

What's your opinion on tall golfers? Would you always recomend shafts extensions? Ik not over 1 3/4 inch. But I am 6' 7" 1/2 and I have long arms. I used to play Standard Length irons when I was younger but I am in my late 30's and getting new hips this winter. I love the game. But sometimes I wonder if I should just play S L Irons?
@McGolf7 жыл бұрын
At 6'7" that's a bit over standard. However with really long arms you might be only 1/2" over standard. This is where the length test we do initially would be perfect. Length is also dependent on the stance you take if you take a tall stance instead of a bent over stance more length may be needed. Find a custom fitter or Callaway fitter as they have various length clubs to test.

Hey you trip over the shaft stickers?
@McGolf7 жыл бұрын
peterk814 no but a spec of graphite could have done it
@peterkim10007 жыл бұрын
Sorry. Typo. Why do you grip over the shaft stickers on the first iron. Wouldn’t it make it difficult to remove it?
@McGolf7 жыл бұрын
Peter, the shaft stickers did not get covered. The plastic tab that identifies shaft was covered on one and it was removed from the shaft before delivery.

How come there was no celebrity video when you made my clubs?

I was trying to keep things on the down low, I know how some of you celebrities are about privacy.
