Thank you so much, it was a ton of fun to build, but I think the reveal was more epic than the build. It was a complete surprise in every way. When you build something like this, you never expect it to be bad, but sometimes I don’t always expect it to be awesome and this one was truly awesome.

Yes!!! Of all of our decorations. This was the one that stole the show this year. I think I’m gonna definitely make more in different patterns and/or situations. Glad you enjoyed it. Let me know how it goes. Happy crafting!

Another great video. Love your ideas. What a wonderful gift for your wife. What give you the idea to makes this nutcracker?
@generalsworkshop11 ай бұрын
Good question, one day, I was just looking at all of our nutcrackers that we have in our kitchen window, and I thought to myself, I bet I could make one bigger. Bigger and better is always good, right? Lol.

DUUUUUUDE!!!! This is EPIC! How long did this take in real time?
@generalsworkshop11 ай бұрын
Epic is right. I thought about making a bunch of them for the Airsoft Field, so we could have drones and statue already out there. Regarding time, the biggest consumption of my time was with the paint and allowing it to dry. I worked on this two evenings after work for a total of approximately 2 to 3 hours across two nights, and then one more segment on one of my days off so I would say I had a total of six hours into this. That includes going to the store and getting parts, etc. Your idea of asking about the real time is intriguing to me because I think if I were to keep track of a log and at least have that information available, it might be handy information for you guys. I think that’s one of the deceptive parts about being a KZbin creator is you might see a video that takes 12 minutes and yet it took a ton more time to actually make. You’re just seeing the highlight reels, so to speak. That’s something I’ll have to consider doing for future videos. Thanks for the idea.

Amazing, how does it store away?
@generalsworkshop11 ай бұрын
Lol, that’s honestly the hard part. I am looking at doing a another video that goes over how to store it and keeping the storing away in mind as it’s built.
