I finally built something awesome for myself and I couldn't be more excited to get all my bathroom stuff off the floor of our garage apartment and into something a little more--adultish?? You know...like NOT cardboard boxes haha.
I've got the downloadable PDF plans for this cabinet here:

A list of all materials, tools, and the step by step tutorial, here:

For holding the glass in you should look at using glaziers points, usually dirt cheap and if you ever have to replace the glass it's a lot easier to remove them, especially if the glass breaks.

To install glass of that size, use quarter-round molding and silicone glue. Instead of one large sheet of glass, you could have installed smaller panes of glass. If a break or crack occurs, it would be much easier and cheaper to replace a small pane of glass than one large one. Instead of glue, use silicone and/or glazing. Glue increases the likelihood of a glass break or crack. You need to allow the glass to flex and move a bit. Silicone is flexible. If you don't want to use molding to hold your smaller panes of glass, use a trowel or putty knife to push window spikes into the wood at a few strategic locations.

Great advice. However I’ve installed several glass panels in a few of my pieces and they’re still holding up great. Nothing loose. Nothing cracked and nothing broken. One of them I built about five years ago 👍

Some great tips in there for my upcoming bathroom cabinet project, thank you!! Thought I'd share a couple of my own (well, from people who have lots more experience than me!) - Use silicon sealant beading instead of glue for glass, as it gives the glass more flex. - Gluing edge-edge grain is stronger without dowels (or biscuits), and if gluing end grain, use mitre joints with dowels or keys so the dowels don't bury directly into the edge grain, where it can splay. If you're worried that the boards will slide when clamping without dowels, a pinch of salt along the join will prevent that.

I'm really liking this design. I think if you shrunk it down you could put it on top of a double vanity to give some separation. Obviously you'd need to have a decent size double vanity to do so, but would look awesome.

The large latch is a bold and beautiful choice. It is a nice contrast to the "lightness" of the window panes. And the simple raised panels are a great choice too.

I might be blind but do you have a video on your trick for cutting crown molding? Yours always look perfect! If you don't have one you should put one together, there is a lot of us who would benefit from it. Love this cabinet you built, I have watched this several times in anticipation of building one. Thanks for sharing you are an inspiration! Your talent shines in your projects! Have a beautiful day
@WoodshopDiaries

Thank you so much!! I don’t have any tricks to crown molding...just a lot of practice. Basically, you set the saw to 45, flip the crown upside down and cut. The most important part is making sure to hold it so the flat pieces on the top and bottom are perfectly flush against the fence and the bottom plate of the miter saw. No tricks! There’s tons of videos out there on it already 😉😄

Omg you amaze me each project! Good job Shara and thanks for sharing. Commented to quickly, I’ve never heard of a Cremone bolt. That thing is awesome, reminds me of something you’d see in a Victorian piece yet with your cabinet it enhances in that modern way. I really enjoyed the methods of joinery you share and the details of Cremone bolts and other hardware, metals just bring it to the next level. I can’t wait to see what else you have in mind and the bolts and details you come up with in later projects because honestly, the cabinet is gorgeous already but when you installed the Cremone bolt it elevated it to a one of a kind for me. Something way off topic, I’m wanting to add in a mitre station attached to my garage wall but one that stores moveable cabinets underneath, (Ana White teamed up with ryobi to build garage shelving that also stored mitre saw/table saw tables that rolled out yet when put together all heights met up for multi purpose function for ie: a storage table was same height as table saw to join and make a safe out feed table with storage) anyways, because I’m short I’d have to make movable tables shorter to fit under a shorter than normal workbench so I can comfortably stand and use the workbench. I saw a solution to adjustable height tables/cabinets by installing a scissor jack onto the work table either at the bottom or top to adjust to the height needed. Curious your take on an adjustable height work table that could be rolled and stored under a workbench/mitre station that’s attached to a wall? Way off topic Ik, but the concept is fascinating and problem solving for us non gigantic builders that struggle with heights, lol embarrassing problem standing on tippy toes lmao! Curious your thoughts or take on something like this. Love this build you’ve just made, its high quality all around and again that Cremona bolt... damn!!! Top level ;)
