Ill be just nv4500 swapping it or a 4l80 after the 300k 4l60 shits out and retaining 4wd incase i gotta get out somewhere or get myself in a sticky situation that 2wd wont get me outta. Ive been dreaming about a hand brake in my truck for a long time too lol. Its a 4x4 with the floor mount shifter, ive been wanting to convert to 2wd and put a handbrake where the 4x4 shifter is. Anyway dope truck just subbed👍

Sweet build man. In the process of throwing an fbody t56 in my rcsb. What shifter did you end up using? Also did you have to push that mid seat back at all or just trim it? Ik the fbody shifter comes close to that bench seat don’t want to pull it out if i don’t have to. Thanks.

What RPM are you hitting limiter at? What's the rollout on the tires? in the process of doing something similar but with a 6.0 with twins and debating gear ratio between 3.73/4.10/4.56 as I've got the close ratio magnum

What year did you get the rear axle from. I thought the NBS 1500HD were all 8 Lugs. And what all did it take to get the T56 into the truck?

I got one off a 2500 light duty. I think they are 9.5” it was 6 lug with G80 locker.

If it is a high volume pump you need to get it swapped iver to a high pressure pump so you dont run into oil starvation issues.
