I would suggest one thing, if you treat your business as finding other people’s need and you would like to use your ability to help them, then it’s much easier to be consistent, since there are countless people out there and countless needs out there every day and every moment. But if you treat your business as how to benefit yourself only, it becomes so hard as you are attached to your money growth, and these numbers in your dashboard, and soon become disappointed.

Thanks for the advice. I've been working toward building a brand since February 12th, so I've been at it for over 60 days now. Most of those days were about setting up the technical stuff like websites, social platforms, and actually working on creating a handful of music, with about 15% of that time being toward creating meaningful connections with people. Now that I've got the foundation of the brand started, it's finally time for me to shift to using the majority of the time to establishing brand awareness and connecting with people more, and your advice was the perfect catalyst for me at this moment of my journey. I've put money in ads with 0 followers gained, just interacting, for free, got me 13 in a day. That's amazing to me. Now I just gotta keep it up and stay dedicated and that averages to over 1100 in 90 days! Edit: most important, it wasn't 30 solid hours of engaging and searching for hashtags, it was just 5-10 minutes here and there throughout the day and a good hour of actually sifting through tags. It wasn't a lot of work at all.

Just came across your channel Adam. I’ve just started putting out my music. Been thinking of doing it since I was a teenager, 30 now. I guess one benefit of that is I’ve got a lot of originals😂 Your channels really helping me figure out how to get my music out there. Thank you so much 🙏 Keep an eye on me, I’m going to make this happen 😎 ❤️

Been a week since I've been doing this and I'm already seeing a bump in my follower count! I was struggling at 497 and now I'm at 513!! That's +16 followers in that week! I'm gonna aim it for a day now ;) Update: Was at 520 but now due to people randomly deleting their accounts me got me to 515 :(

How'd it go for you?
@pikasfed4 жыл бұрын
@@AmxrJ99 guys stop you're reminding me of those people writing under workout/diet/exercise videos that constantly ask other people if it works before trying it themselves, but this isn't even working out or something "hard"as following a diet.. do it yourselves and see if it works, those days you spend waiting for an answer that won't come are days you could have spent working on your fanbase

Simply following people with the same interest works much better. I've been doing it for 5 days and got 200 followers. I'm not in the music niche but my post get about 50 likes, 100+ on a few.

Hey, I’m Calvin, I play lead guitar at Them Bloody Kids. We’re an alt rock/metal band based in London and I just happened to come across your video whilst browsing through videos on promoting our music on Spotify. We all in the band regularly watch Damian Keyes’ Music Industry advice and I must say, I’m so impressed watching your video. Love your confidence and your way of explaining things so watcher-friendly (if ‘watcher-friendly’ is even a word haha) and we’ll definitely be watching your stuff from now on and take your advice. Rock on 🤘🏻👏

Thank you so much! That means a lot to me. Damian does a good job of sharing his perspective and I’m glad you stumbled upon my stuff and a different approach to things. Balance is important.

I just found this channel and the first thing I noticed about your personality is you don’t BS. You’re straight to the point and brutally honest. I guess some would say you’re a “hardass,” but it’s exactly what I needed to keep pushing myself. Thank you for this piece of content Adam! Definitely subbed!
