Hello. What happens to the fertilizer in water with ultrasonic humidification?

Since this form of fog is not due to evaporation, rather instead, vibration, many of the nutrient salts that have mixed with the water are still lifted and carried to the roots. I am still studying the long term effects with the heavier salts and even erosion of the fogger itself. Great question!

Try to use this method but with seed starting, add 3% hydrogen peroxide

If you use a wood block as a backer and don't push hard, let the bit do the work.. it won't break the bin.

@@humblegrowth what's even better: run the drill "backwards". The teeth will still enter the plastic, but will make a *much* cleaner hole. But using less pressure is important.

Hey there! Any issues with leaking? I'm using a spray cloner but man, the dang thing keeps leaking on me. I wonder if using a fogger vs a spray system will help with that?

Add a hole on top for air pressure to release, the pump creates pressure in the compartment

One downside is if you have a power outage your roots will dry out and the plants will die. That Is why I like using water that the stems are submerged in and put an Aquarium airstone in the water. If the power goes out the stems will stay wet because they are in the water always.

verry true. A battery backup is a good idea with aeroponics for this reason. Even still, may be SOL. My pump died in my DWC and I didn't even know for a month lol it was just a Kratky garden.

thank you for the instruction its a very nice hobby i like to have an idea build something and see it working i love how fast hydroponics are compared to earth but i miss something in the taste of hydro fruits there is less variety of aroma in my opinion i thought maybe there is a way to combine earth and hydroponics i tried making a "swamp" with bubbler but its a mess and in larger pots with 20 gallons or more its hard to handle indoors alone...but what would happen when you take a plant in a pot grown in earth and hang the outgrowing roots in a dwc? then you should have faster growth with all the magic happening in the soil anyone ever tried this?

hey stoner fam Put some shitty ply wood or scraps on both sides of the crappy plastic bin you 1/2 inch drill into . Clamp them. then drill it. Then remove the clamp and scraps. ;)

#2 put the power cord thru your now nice hole. Use a piece of gorilla packaging tape fold the cord down and put the packing tape onto the inside of the reservoir covering the cord and making a nice seal around the hole. Reservoir gets dirty and needs cleaned , glue gun wont be nice due to surface area being hard to properly clean.
