Rookie numbers! From factory the crankshaft and the cam shaft comes installed the wrong way around. You want to switch them around and put your cams in the bottom and the crank on the top. I got 1000hp to the wheels. I also took the wing off of a civic type R and put it on the hood so my car doesn't wheelie when I launch it.

Things to do 1. Chargepipe 2. Oil catch can 3. Catless downpipes (catted if restricted) 4. Intercooler 5.MHD stage 2+ 6. relocated inlets, I haven’t done mine because I plan on upgrading turbos so I won’t have to do it twice because it’s a pain in the a**.
@steffenscheibler58492 жыл бұрын
You do not need to relocate the intakes. Not for anything under 700-800hp. It makes no difference to power and the throttle response isn't noticeably better. Uprated inlets in the original location is much a better option as its way cheaper, way easier and they allow the stock turbos to get more air so they are under less loads whilst delivering the same boost. So this is a mod to improve longevity of stock turbos and is a necessity for bigger turbos if your aim is to hit 500-700hp. If you plan to drive hard, you need to uprate your oil cooler, especially if you live in a hotter climate. Even if you live in a cooler place, you need to cool your automatic transmission if you have an N54 with a slushbox auto.

I have the 5'cooler, charge pipe, duel cones intake, 3" inlets. I would love to have the downpipes, but in California I will never be able to pass smog check again. I feel and see the power improvement.
@mohammedramirez65743 жыл бұрын
Bro I have all that too except intercooler and the difference to going catless is insane but there are also high flow cats you can get so you can pass smog and if you have a 335i with the N54 motor it has secondary downpipes which you dont feel as much power gain as the downpipes but it still will gain a little hp and it passes smog test

Im fbo rn running mhd stage2+ do you think i can achieve 400whp with only e85 mix? And also would running e85 mix everytime harm the fuel pump? What mix percent would you recommend? Thank you!!
@peakerpolo104 жыл бұрын
Mandrake ZL definitely! The max I would go on a healthy stock fuel pump is like e25. Upgrade your low pressure fuel pump and you can run up to e60 which will feel amazing. Here’s the one I recommend: n54builds.com/collections/frontpage/products/n54-stage-2-lpfp-e85-compatible

@peakerpolo105 жыл бұрын
Sohail A I noticed a small difference in turbo spool when I switched to them. It was a few hundred rpm less than the stock air box. When air goes through turbos it gets extremely hot, your best bet is to spend money on a quality Intercooler
