Hi, guys, I have taken the time to turn this video into a 3d cad model using SketchUp, all measurements for cuts, etc, and step by step visual guide if anyone is interested please let me know, ps Craig or the team if you are interested in me doing this for more of your vids please feel free to ask, its just a little hobby i intend on building this project over the weekend

Hi Craig, The framework with the 3 x 2 noggins in the middle. Could you tell me the measurements of where it sits in the framework please?

I fixed the center frame about 400mm front he floor to the both sides square sections, but you can choose the hight yourself if your taller or shorts just a-just the hight by 50mm or so.

alright using new tree wood but recycled would have been superb

We agree but its not easy getting recycled wood for this kind of build and look we wanted.

Heya.. im gonna attempt this myself but the wood i have aquired is not treated and i have plastic decking boards for outside. Before i get stuck in some pointers be amazing. Im new to woodwork Tia Matty

Hi can you advise what oil you used to stain the wood. It brought the natural colour out straight away. Hood job and look really nice..

For the frames a polyurethane glue was used and the cladding was held with an exterior wood glue for a little extra support

Of course! We love pallets. Just make sure to remove all the nails otherwise it might not be too comfortable

Would love if you did a video on a pogoda.... A know it's abit persific but I've got build one myself in new few weeks for family so could of done with a few pointers. 👍🛠️👍

Cheers Arch Enemy, It was Danish oil I used on the wood its brilliant for drawing the true colours and grains out the wood. plus it gives it a better protection against the weather

Quite often bigger projects like this one can b make easier if you have someone else help with the assembling of the boxers and the bench frame to the boxers.

Great idea and detailed plan to follow. Question though. How did you get the plants to sit higher up in the boxes?

Thanks Nathan, I placed some buckets upside down in both box section to sit the plant pots on, worked perfect.

I was going to suggest some hardcore in the bottom to help with drainage as well, especially for the UK and the lovely rain we get….

Id say a lot depends on the free available wood one has on hand as opposed to purchasing all new wood. One can choose pressure treated 2x4 for the frames, use cheap cedar fencing panels for the exterior. Add in hardware for outdoor use. Id say the cost depends on a lot of factors. Luckily at least in the US, wood prices are slowly dropping. Cost can be more too for the type of finish one chooses. Natural, oiled, stained, painted.
