Genius! I've been using Velcro straps to secure the laser pointer. Your device looks more secure and less frustrating.

Does doing this with a head on affect the final outcome as the head, face, toe weight throws off the center point resulting in a diffirent oscilation? Or should it always be done with a head on, in position?

Can you explain why you flo and the benifits
@stephenbarry55885 жыл бұрын
One last question- so I found the flo.. marked it was tape.. right handed golfer I’m going to install it at the 12:00 position.. I’ve also heard some people install it at the 9:00.. installing at 12 tightens dispersion whereas at 9:00 tightens trajectory.. or vice versa?
@McGolf5 жыл бұрын
Stephen Barry the 9 or 3 o’clock install was to lower or raise trajectory ever so slightly. Spine to target raises. Again ever so slightly

Jim, which brand and model of clamp do you use for your FLOing?

Ok, now I have 2 clubs in My Apex DCB that have a lot of vibration even if you hit dead center. The PW 43 Degrees is the worst barely make 100 meters but my Callaway Jaws 48 degree goes 115 meters . Jaws is a true temper S 200 and the pitching wedge is regular flex NS PRO 950. Would this laser work to spot my trouble?

Hi there, I really liked this video. Bit of a dumb question, how do you secure the head to the shaft well enough during the FLO process so when you twang the club the head does not rotate loosely. I noticed at the end of the video it looked like some fishing line hanging off. Do you wrap the shaft in fishing line so that the head stays on? Can you please explain this bit? Also just one more, does the grip have to be removed, does this effect the FLO? Thanks in advance, Glenn👍

Glenn Norman I use .012 fishing line I put it in the in line with the shaft as this is the space usually taken by the glue. Yes with grip off. Although grips are well made they can impact the FLO of the club

What’s the best way to clamp a shaft butt in the vise to avoid damaging the shaft?

Do you find that in steel shafts the spine and flo are usually the same? I’m having issues locating the flo of my steel shafts.. I rotated the club 360* and never got the straight line, just tighter dispersion of the loop.. and it happened to be on the spine every time..
@McGolf5 жыл бұрын
Stephen Barry yes FLO is usually on or near the spine. Give or take a few degrees

Yea i realized my vice wobbled the table a little bit.. secured it up and was pretty easy to find.. thanks for your quick reply!

So you mark your FLO line on the bottom of the shaft instead of the top, right?

you are correct

@McGolf6 жыл бұрын
Ray99223 I get the laser pointers from office max, the link is in the show notes. It is the the key chain variety. Thanks

Wow, that's a pricy pointer... I found a pet pointer for cats as a play tool that was $5, at Home Hardware, pet stores and Canadian Tire in Canada that may also work.
