Don't know if this applies to p, c. But when you place a house down, you don't need to do a 2 x2. If you put a road down 1x5 next to your house and then drag the foundation cursor and make sure it's over the road. It should give you the 1x4 house foundation.

@@jareddrumheller2015 Another excellent way to do a long house. Well, whatever saves time. Ur method will then require to build homesteads alternately with roads, then delete roads later? Can u check this situation then - U build homestead, road, homestead (1 x 4 or 1 x 5) by ur method. If u delete road now, how will u build homestead there?

I'm gonna start this off like a new game. So you're gonna get your quest to put down your 5 gravel pieces? Next, you're gonna put your Homestead to the left of the gravel path. Are you gonna move foundation cursor all the way to the end of that gravel path? Sometimes it will give you a yellow indicator if you move your cursor to the end of the gravel road. It should give you a green, just play with a little bit. If you delete that gravel path, now that you have a Homestead blueprint built other homesteads will think of that as a solid object. And you will be able to place as many as you can. Another thing, if you place a Homestead one block away from the hill, you can place 1 foundation on the back of the Homestead and the remaining 3 will we put on the mountain and you can put them anywhere on there. They don't have to be in a straight line. They don't have to be connected. They just have to have enough space to put them down.

Hey buddy, apologies for reading this a bit late, I had some academic work to deal with. I understand what you posted and infact, I've specifically explored the concept in my latest fabledom video - kzbin.info/www/bejne/rX2cdWuVj9-XfLMsi=lJZm_pJN4UUgnQTk (Here, I managed 88 homesteads under a single well, cuz i realised foundations don't have to be just connected to the tile, but if u work for it a bit, they can be moved as far as u want them to be. Also, I explored the gravel road point that u made in the same video. It seems if u build along a gravel road with no space on other side, it allows a 1 x 4 by default. Not 1 x 5 or 1 x 3, but 1 x 4.

Oh. How do I delete foundations after I've placed them? The regular removal tool doesn't remove it and I don't see where to remove it in the homestead building pane

Tapping on the foundation gives a small tick/cross interface, which can help u delete those. If you are on console, it might be tricky, I've demonstrated for PC.

@@zackplog2588 No, they can cross walls, just a bit slower than walking on roads, they'll still enter houses from front, just reaching that front door will be through someone else's yard. Thank God they're not humans, or it'll be a cause for fights everyday 😅
