How to build a heavy duty truck bumper

Here is a method in order to build a steel truck bumper from 11 gauge material that bolts on to factory mounts.

I have scrap metal plate and it's all diamond floor. I may try buying a sheet to attempt a build for my 2011 Silverado 3500. I made a flat bed on my channel so this could be easier. Looks good.

If you can weld you can get pipe and make a pipe bumper and use a stick welder best to use a ac welder and use 6010 rod or 6011

Hey sorry this is a late response, but this would happen if he used something thicker thank 1/8 inch I've heard that thickness is perfect for if you lightly tap a tree but crumple in if you hit something going fast

What the fuck do you mean my guys it has like 15 gussets its got a sturdy skeleton out of 1/8 inch angle iron and some beefy square tubing if you want a a heavy duty bumper why don't you buy the one off the jeepers creepers coe
