How To Build A Honda Civic EG

Hey guys welcome back to the channel and in today’s video we will be going over how I would personally modify and build the perfect Honda civic EG hatch! Most of these mods also work for the sedan or coupe models as well tho and this is not in any way a buyers guide, review, or tutorial of any kind, just how I would personally build this cheap tuner Jdm sports car. Been a while mark! Great video youngster! Amazing platform. My personal favorite civic generation. Bubble back baby!!! I'm old now and you know what I've built. But these still catch my eye, because out of the 50+ cars I've built in my life this one has eluded me!!!

@ProfessorTurtleGuy Many hold special places for different reasons. But my dad and I built an all motor 1988 toyota supra. On the 7M platform. We built it several times over and it was turning 13s every pass. So much fun and memories.

@markroden you will!!! And we're not always talking full builds of course! Some were 20k invested into my daily 02' wrx wagon, over a cpl years. Some were throwing an exhaust, wheels and tires and loud blowoff valve on our boys thunderbird turbo coupe and screaming around town seeing what we could take. Its all about getting out there and enjoying the culture gentleman. And were still out here at 40 doing it big. I've finished another 00' 4runner with a 3.5 liter, and it looks beat to hell outside. But the motor and suspension will destroy any trail, and were working on my chevy hhr ss next just for fun. Just keep doing it and you'll be able to look back in 20 years and never have to say "I wish I would have"....

Dont gut the interior, it doesn't shed much weight and if you remove the headliner you will boil yourself in the summer on the track ....it insulates you from heat. Remember Civics are damn light with interior already and you could still put a roll cage with full interior.

The Coupes are the same wheel base as the hatch and can perform just as well as the hatch. All of the performance parts Mark mentioned fit Integras too ( same car basically)
