Does the tri-clamp side of the hose connect to your pump?

Are you going to post a video of filling and cleaning a keg with this setup? Love your book by the way.

The assembled Fill/Cleaning Couplers are $195 at GW Kent, and $175 at Micromatic. But, after a bit of sleuthing I ended up ordering one from Sabco for $99 or so. Not as inexpensive, but should save me a lot on sourcing parts and shipping.

Did prices on those valves -really- change that much since this video was posted? I just did some shopping around (Micromatic, GW Kent, Sabco) and those shut-off valves are $30 a piece! Not to mention another $30 on the keg coupler itself. So that kind of money it is -almost- as expensive as buying a pre-made keg filler.

Loving this. Do you know the name of the thread and size of the ball valves is it a bsp thread? Thanks

When filling your kegs has your product already got co2 in solution or do you force carbonate in the kegs. I'm hoping to use this in a homebrew setup and would need to purge the oxygen 02 from the keg prior to filling and afterwards burp the head space to get rid of any oxygen. I notice you said to let the gas escape.

I buy them from Foxx Distributing. I think they have gone up and there are some less expensive alternatives that Foxx has too. Don't know what a premade one costs but if it is as cheap, then great!

It is called a beer nut thread. Micromatic sells them as well as GW Kent.

Hi what size hose are you using on your beer in line?
@KelsonBrewer12 жыл бұрын
Awesome! Looking forward to it. Cheers!

Total cost $30 to $40? I can't find the ball valves for less than $25 (times 2 equals $50) then a coupler for $30, add the hose and tri clamp fitting, and I think you're over $100 easy. If you have supply sources with cheaper prices, please share.

+Georgia Beer Co. OK I did the math and I was wrong. try clamp hose barb 8.90, sankey valve 21.95 (probably find one cheaper) 2 ball valves (Foxx Equip.) 17.95 each, Misc. hose 5. Total 71.75.

I sense sarcasm? I put it out there in 2012! It's on our web site coloradoboy.com or here Frankenbrew Keg Washer

How many kegs an hour can you fill with this setup?
@ekapada8 жыл бұрын
Depends on if you fill one at a time then 5 minutes to fill a keg. Or incorporate a manifold like the one used on the keg cleaner and fill 4 at the same time
@CrazyGnome078 жыл бұрын
Gotcha, so really you take the slow 5 minutes to avoid foaming, etc. 4 at a time, I guess you could get 40 kegs an hour, considering an extra minute to change. Pretty fast!

Yes go slow. Hook the keg up and open the flow but not the gas outlet. That will allow the pressure to equalize. About 30 seconds. Then crack open the gas outlet but not too much so it fills slowly.

If you want to make it too just use InpliX handbooks.
