That looks brilliant, so much better than a sleeper pond although you could probably do the same thing with railway sleepers for less cost and less time but it woud not look as nice as that !

Really enjoyed watching this project and great to see the finished result love the planting wings which in time will soften this pond and look great, also felt the lighting design was done in a stylish way with the modern. In terms of sealing tho I would leave it alone for a season let any trapped moisture time to cure and any efflorescence or similar white bloom time to do it's course it's a natural product. A good clean and some non chemical cleaning solution is something your no doubt in the process of doing anyway. 👍

@@jamiecook4335 if it’s stained with cement it will need more than a non chemical treatment. if it’s cleaned straight away u can get away with water but left for just lil while it will stain and be hard to remove all that was needed if it is stained is taken a lil more care when laying

@@James-yb3di I usually use a washboy and sponge as when laying paving I always prime the backs, get what your saying but using a cement based jointing product will leave residue if not careful and get your point , I have used a haze remover and worked quite well after multiple wash downs .
