few extra tips get a set of tin snips. cheap and easy to use also you can use a heat gun to help with bending the pvc pipe if your having a hard time with it

I used a "circle calculator" and the measurements (rough) if your diameter is 4', (2' radius) your Circumference would be 12.5' so you would need 6.25' pieces of the "schedule 30" to make your hoops. Hope this helps take some of the guesswork out.

I use ripe or zip ties to make the latch. It’s just a half circle

4x3. I usually make them the size of the height of the mesh netting I get. Makes it easier to

Can you please elaborate how you bent the pvc pipe?

I just worked it and tried to round it myself before putting together. Once I put one of the sides in and screwed it in it allowed me to bend it a bit more to be able to put it into the other side. You need to get sch 30 the thinner pipe or it won’t bend.

Q: was there a reason you used SS screws instead of gluing the PVC?

The glue always pops out after time. For me this was stronger. You can try glue

Where did you find the schedule 30 pvc? Can only find schedule 40

I didn’t. The heat would bend it oddly. Use that sched 30

Birds yes but crabs the most lol no pirates yet!
