I watched. Thanks for the link. I liked and subbed. I really like the idea of having your saws outside. Think I'll try that. A couple of questions: 1. Why did you cut your 3/4 logs to length before cutting to width? Seems to me that cutting that long board into 3/4 strips would have been easier, faster, and safer. Take a look at my left hand to see why I say "safer." I have the Tee-shirt. 2. Unless I missed something - I didn't see any provisions for cleaning out the nesting chamber. I was waiting to see you screw a bottom on without glue. Maybe you did that later. Thanks for watching my video. I have two other birdhouse videos, if you are interest, plus 200+ videos on many types of projects.

GREAT Question..Moving the saw outside was for lighting...But did you notice the birds songs in the back ground for Great Audio....It worked out to be a fun idea.. 1.Never thought about the length vs. width cuts..You have a good point.. 2.The clean out is a very good question..I mount the bird house on some kind of flat pieces very loosely. Which I am able to pull the whole house off the Flat pieces for easy clean out.... I will be checking out your whole channel. It looks like you have some great ideas and it looks like you are having fun!!..Keep the videos coming...

I have a question I don't see here. You say 6 each of the 4-3/4 and 6-3/4 and 8 each of the 7.5 and 9 but you don't say which goes with which. I tried several combos and could only get 6 layers while your video shows 7. I always end up with 2 extra of the 7.5 and 9???

UGH...I will have to double check that..I'm on the road and will need to check this weekend..My bad..I think my first house had six layers with the base, and the second one (the one built in the video) has seven layers with no base....Thanks for the heads up..

I didn't explain this good at all..The bottom is base on how you want to hang it..If you hang with rope from a branch I put a piece of wood in the bottom, if you are putting it on a pole I would put a platform on it..Like the one in the beginning of the video..Therfore it becomes your choice on how you are hanging it..Hope that helps you..
