For everyone confused about all of the mistakes in the video (like me) i've found answers or solutions for all of them. 1. seed/coordinates, if you are 1.18 and above on Bedrock sorry I don't have a solution, but if you're on Java revert you're game to 1.14.2 to generate the world and go the the coords generate roughly a 100 by 100 chunk area then revert your game back to whatever version you're playing. 2. The four block gap on the left side of the pier, instead of putting the first log on X =2126 Z =1388 and having a five long fence on the left put it on X =2127 Z = 1388 with a four block long fence and then build as normal making sure to put FIVE andesite between each log. 3. Everything else, go to 102:22

I have figured out how to solve the issue at 4:52 with the four blocks instead of five. Move the starting pillar east by one block and redo the design based on that. (Sorry to those who are already well into the tutorial)
@Shann0n20003 жыл бұрын
So is it 4 or 5? I'm so confused bc the other staircase next to it he did 5 & why would they be different unless make that 4 as well?
@orangecatguy98453 жыл бұрын
You want all staircases to be 5 wide he accidentally did a 4 wide and it will mess up your build later so this is how you fix it

This is perfect for my seaside town. Got the idea after playing through episode 3 of scooby-doo first frights. The level is about a sea monster that lives at the heart of a ghostly cruise ship that is hauntings the town of rocky Bay. The sea monster turned out to be Wille the whaler and Seth angle. After they discovered pearl reef they came up with the legend of the deep one so they could scare everyone away so they could smuggle the pearls. Level 1 and 2 takes place along the shores of rocky Bay and leave 3,Chase,4, and boss take place on the ghostly cruise ship. Anyway that level inspired me to build a seaside town in minecraft

EDIT: I figured it out. He actually MISS counts while building his back foundation at (4:31). He counts pillar, then 1,2,3,4,5 - pillar 1,2,3,4,5 - pillar BUT at his sixth pillar he COUNTS 5 Andesite but actually only lays down FOUR (resulting in the stair above left of the pier being only 4 blocks wide at that point in the video). That is why the back wall and everything else is off by one block as you continue. You will unfortunately have to shift EVERYTHING (and I mean everything) on the left side of the pier ONE block to the left to add in the one block making it an even spacing of 5 between pillars, if you want to match what he has on the screen. It's really not that big of a deal. You don't necessarily need to rebuild everything, just the outer row of each feature. He does magically fix it a few minutes later. Although, it is not mentioned in the "fixes" section at the end of the video. I hope this helps anyone running into this problem.
@BlueNerdMC3 жыл бұрын
Watch the video to end buddy, I go back and correct that accidental 4 block gap.
@NorthernChev3 жыл бұрын
@@BlueNerdMC I'm not talking about the miscount on the lower deck planks, I'm talking about the stair just to the left of the pier. This mistake never gets address in the video but magically gets fixed between cuts. One shot it's four wide then the next shot it's five. All we need to know, to get this right, is, did you shift everything left one block or did you shift the pier one block to the right? It looks like you shifted everything left to get it to match, but we can't tell.
@BlueNerdMC3 жыл бұрын
@@NorthernChev This is an old video so I can't remember the mistake you are pointing out, however I do know that I pointed out and showed how to fix the errors I made at the end of the video. It was a miss count on my part any mishaps are spoken about at the end so be sure to watch the ending for the explanation =)

No worries buddy, it's easy enough to make it work. Just find a nice spot by the ocean, most of the land will be built over anyway :)

I don't really know how to explain this, but at 59:31, where the big stairs are at, on the right side, you have 2 of those kinda gaps filled with spruce wood if you know what I mean. Then, You have another 2 of them, but they're like facing the other way, so there is a corner. In this video, from that corner to the last block of those 2 "spruce gaps" facing the other way, there are 16 blocks. But at the tutorials that I'm building now, It's 18 blocks. I'm really sorry because this is probably really confusing and my english is pretty bad, but if you understand what I mean, do you know why this is? Again, I'm so sorry for making it so confusing.

Thank you so much Horumba, glad you're enjoying the builds my friend. To be honest I learned just by practising building and messing around with blocks. Finding pictures and concept art on google images helps me find ideas and inspiration, but to be honest the best way is to load up a creative world and just keep playing around with different blocks, find colours that work well together. Watching build tutorials also helps, just pay attention to block placement, it really helps you learn new techniques for building. Hope that helps a little bit buddy 😀👍

So, I really enjoy doing play alongs and let's build series cuz it's fun to play in the same seed and do the same thing. IDK why, it just is. However, I prefer bedrock over java but the only play along series are played on Java. I found a fix... I figured out how to convert a java world into bedrock. So I made a new world with this seed in java and converted it to bedrock. Now I can follow this series and still be in my preferred version.
