Excellent frames but I must protest...... La Lady Baguette is so clearly a bonafide Royal that my pal -who just happens to be a Royal groom walking alongside the gold state coach that'll transport KCIII & his Queen from their Coronation to the after knees-up-says Baguette can cadge a lift with them as is jolly well her birthright. Lots of brocades, silks and velvets to get her claws into and dangly jewels on crowns to bat about- she'll love it. Just pop her in the post/parachute her in pronto. 🌟🐈👑🐈👑🐈👑🐈🌟

I enjoy how you share your frustrations and mistakes…that’s me every time…I was surprised that you didn’t get frames from the thrift store and cut them down or used some mat board to frame….you should share how much this project costs…also I love your picture frames…but maybe try some bright gold or rose gold rub and buff for more dimension. Check out how Annie Sloan uses rub and buff…on her work…thanks for the video!

Yep! Totally the plan to brighten it. My local stores were all out of the brighter gold :(. Another time I definitely would have thrifted, but I wanted them to be a certain width too (with the frame), and I knew it would be tricky to find. I think these cost me about $60 (minus the miter box since, ya know, tools. Definitely pricier than I’d have liked but oh well, you learn.

Fun episode! Some great tips on building a frame. I would have the confidence now to start a project like that after this video. It also struck me that if you wanted to jazz up a mirror (or custom build a mirror for a space), the trim would be a good way to do something like that. Love the rub and buff look on the frames as well. One of the biggest take-aways I get from your videos is to not looking at having to build something yourself as an obstacle. If you can dream it, you may have to build it! 😃

This is so inspirational! I have a gallery wall and some of them are framed in fancy gold frames and some are in plain black frames. Totally inspired to get some of that trim and see if it works to cover up the black framed with it. I had to fix a frame I bought from Michaels and had a hard time figuring out how to clamp the corners bc it was a super wide frame. Any recs? Thank you!!
