When i find a planet i like, then go find the portal.. Theres nearly always a cave nearby.. I build in there usually.

Best thing about is, that other 'creators' or wanna be 'PewDiePie's get mad... LOL... Seen a couple of videos about weekend missions and some straight up turned their ship away, making sure it doesn't show the' Discovered by DoubleDashGaming' Tag or doing other shenanigan's to avoid it being displayed. Giving those fools the 🖕 is what it's all about. Especially those 'Captains' that told me to shut up in private twitter PMs.

hey i love your bases! they are so clean and awesome, but i had a question! i am only 40 or so hours in, so i’m still learning different things haha. you may have went over how to do it and i just missed it, but you mentioned you hid your battery to power your base in the ground. how did you do that? i am getting my the power and stuff figured out (electromagnetic generator and battery wise) then doing the structural building, and was curious where you put it/how you did it! thank you for awesome videos!!

I used my terrain manipulator and dug a hole in the ground till I've reached bed rock. placed the batteries down there, and after i was done wiring the whole thing, I've restores the terrain. If you're going to try that as well, make sure you place some kind of marker on the spot where the hole is... you might need it later on. Trust me... i've learned the hard way ;)

@@DoubleDashGaming thank you so much!! i was thinking that was the way to do it but wanted to make sure haha! i am about to start doing the building structures now (the 3 rooms haha) so i’ve been busy getting this base together. thank you for the awesome tutorials because otherwise, i’d be building very small and boring bases! really random, but i just did the weekend nexus mission of saving a life form and it was on a planet you’ve discovered and had some bases on haha! small world (kinda)!

@@DoubleDashGaming No I meant you'll get texture glitches with those stone floor panels on PS4. I've done this a few times with floors and it tends to glitch abit. Base PS4 is showing its age abit 😟 Still playing in VR is great sometimes! 🙂 Looking forward to seeing the rest of the build!
