If you decide to make a larger pyramid remember your ratios and apply them to everystep. My pyramids (not including center tile) is 8 spaces out. Meaning I had to build 16 walls high, and here's the kicker, 8 smaller walls high around the large hydrophinc tray, glitching using the "9th".

Great video!! In case anyone needs this info(took me a a couple hours to figure out) you can build a 21x21 base pyramid and the top point is 20 levels high, then stack 11 small walls on top of that platform and glitch the 12th wall on top of those to give yourself the perfect angle. It's practically of Giza proportions!!

I added windows to mine by deleting the inner triangles and snapping in glass panels in their place. Makes for some sweet window designs too

Ok so for wire glitch we need to do it different instead of LT and Y I did RT and Y and that worked.

Great video but I have a problem. I manage to wire the 2 cables but when I delete the first cable, the 2nd cable (used to build pyramide angle) also disappear. I have tried again and again but same result. I pressed triangle and R2 at the same time (PS4). What am I doing wrong? Please help. Really want to build that pyramid. Thanks.

Added bonus it is two thirds submerged in a lake and inside there are four power generators on a foundation used as a platform and they are two thirds submerged (serendipity). All of that on an ice planet. Almost died once. I was so focused that I ignored that I had run out of cold protection and supplemental air. My health was at 13% when I finally heard the exosuit alarm. Sadly there is no Stargate music.

Love your guides and my base looks amazing thanks to you. In building this pyramid, one side has the pattern flipped. The pattern I want is in the inside. Edit: figured it out. The power symbol (lighting bolt) was upside-down. I fixed it by removing and re-glitching another wire

Does this method take some super precise sub millisecond timing to work? I spent a couple of hours just trying to get the wires placed and it either places the wall segment OR it switches to wiring mode. Do you need a really slow computer for it to glitch the commands? Do you need to work in creative mode? Is there some other trick you didn't mention in the video? I watched your video a couple of times before starting and had it open for reference and this just isn't working for me.

Nope, just press Q and left click simultaneously. Have a look at the other videos in the description. It's basically the same technique over and over again. Try to practice the wire glitch method before you start to build a pyramid.

Leave the height (four walls) as is. Raise the first floor panel that marks the center point instead.

I used to use Beeblebum's method of pyramid building but the pyramid block won't snap like they used too. Now I'm trying your method and I'm running into the same problem. I build BIG pyramids. Your base was a 5x5 floor panels. I'm looking to have a base that is 9x9. How high should I go for the hydroponics tray? You say stay at 4 walls and raise the Centerpoint floor instead. What do you mean by that?

So I figured it out. I built 5 walls up then build the bottom of your pyramid (5x5). Since I knew the top was going to fit perfectly, I went up high enough to cover the base (9x9), then just worked my way down. Fits perfectly, even built so high up! Thanks for the video! It's now my preferred method of pyramid base building!

I've been using Kail's method, but your method seems to be faster. Now if only I could find a faster way to build spheres; the one's I'm aware of are way too fidly for my taste.

I just had a look at Kails Pyramid Video and it seems overly complicated to me. Too many light floors, wires and flipped parts. I can build three pyramids using my method in the same time you build one using kails method. Regarding the sphere, i haven't fiddled with in yet, but it can't be that complicated. I have to give it a try.

Yes, once you understand a method and know what's going on any why, it's pretty easy. (Personally, I like to avoid light floors as much as i can. I really can't stand them)

I need to know how much a person can build expedition 4 ? I have unlocked a lot of the blue prints so many times but it did not work... it seems that I can't build any mine constructions can't build any Electrical stuff, the only thing it will let me build is wooden buildings . nothing else... and I tryed a lot.... You need to buy the blueprints in the space anomaly with salvaged data. Otherwise you won't be able to see the build part in your build menu.

So I figured it out. Use DDG's method at the top of the pyramid and work your way down for larger pyramids. His video shows a pyramid 5x5 floor. My pyramid was 9x9 floor panels. So I went up 5 walls, then just built the top how DDG built his.
