Hi, Thank you so much for this tutorial, I managed to do this with a virtual machine setup on my laptop, it works. Can you please explain if it's safe to rely on this setup as an alternative to Google drive? Is it secure as it is? Please let me know, how can I add more storage to my VM of Ubuntu server, in order to increase the storage on nextCloud. Thanks a lot again.

To be safe, it's not safe, because this is only temporary. If outsiders know, there could be malicious intent to delete some of your files. just add access to the external hdd to add in nextcloud.

I have a Mac mini late 2014 if i install ubuntu desktop on it, it gets installed and works properly fine but if try to install ubuntu server from bootable pendrive screen goes black same happens with nethserver this issue comes only when i try to install any server os but any other desktop os just works fine cloud you please help me
