After hours of searching youtube for this exact thing, I found your video. I was about to just go do it myself from scratch and probably make several trips to the hardware store for what I needed but now I know exactly what I need. Thank you very much for an excellent video!!!!

That was amazing. My husband says our yard is not big enough for me to buy one but never said I couldn’t build a small one. Thanks! Awesome job!

Love this concept. Thank you. I was about to do "nearly" the same design, but glad I found yours since it is a lot simpler and better. When it is done I'll put up a picture.

Really neat little project! I would adjust the height (because I'm taller lol). I'd love to see what you're going to put in there and how things progress over the winter! I've already started to plan a garden with my neighbors because of you guys. You're motivating to say the least! Thanks for posting these!!

Have I told you I LOVE the Familystead.... I wish I would have thought of it! Brilliant! Where did you get your plastic from? Please do updates on this. I am very interested in the results that you get from using this. What was your total cost? Hopefully I didn't miss you saying.
@theprolificfamilystead4 жыл бұрын
Thank you sooo much!!!!! We love you too!!! We bought the plastic from Walmart for 10$. We can’t wait to give you updates. Our greenhouse total cost was 60$. Thank you for stopping by and watching!!!💚🌱

Congrats on the DIY greenhouse! Be careful of high winds....ours was a pre-fab 10 feet by 20 cage with cover & it blew across my backyard last week (still in one piece) on a windy day & got really bent up. I’m still trying to figure out what to do next. Granted I’m in the Chicago area but that’s NOT what they mean when they call us the Windy City LOL!!
@theprolificfamilystead4 жыл бұрын
Thank you!!!!! 😂😂We hope that burying it underneath the dirt keeps it from blowing away. Thank you for stopping by and watching!!!💚🌱

I'm from the Windy City, LOL and it'll take your hat right off your head and to another area code! Try some tent stakes. My greenhouse had a bar on the ground. I Just hammer them into the ground with the hook over that bar, or you could drill a hole in the bottom of the picture leg, and tie twine around it and secure the trine down with tent stakes. My never blew away again. It just had a whole tree fall in it. Twice. I wanna switch from metal tubes to pvc fir flexibility. I would like to use shade cloth on top in the summer cuz I'm in the south and I want a shelter to protect my outdoor kratky setup from super hot sun, excessive rain and deer.
