Thank you very much for this series, finally all step by step, there are so many chaotic build videos out there... Great explanations, very good to follow for me as a beginner! This will guide me through the process of my first build, on a Realacc x210 frame. Budget build, hope I'll make it through since I will try to get those pin connectors into the tight space. If not, more soldering will be the next challenge along ;-) But with those instructions, I feel well prepared now!

how to take power from pdb to flight controller

what do you recommend, a all in one or separate ecs, pdb, ect.. also does the wires for like the receiver and the wire for pdb to flight controller come with the pdb or flight controller or do I buy that separate?

Any recommendations on which wiring kit's to buy off of amazon? For example, the wires and connectors you guys used for the battery connectors?

I hooked up a 6.6v LiFe battery like said at about 6:50, and heard a brief pop as if something burned out (but no smoke). It was a very quick contact, pulled off, then tried to same connection and there was no more pop or smoke. I earlier tried to power it up with VBAT connection with 12v from PDB. Never did I see any LED light on on flight controller. Is there a simple way to tell if this board is fried ?
