The mountian reminds me of lookout mountain in colorado, and that seemed to be a good idea since you have a weapon off train. So your lookouts can tell the train where the enemy is coming and they can destroy everyone on their train track below the “lookout”
@OllieOxyn Жыл бұрын
perhaps I;m thinking of a different lookout mountain in colorado but the one i know is where Buffalo bill is supposedly buried... much flatter and not high enough for summer/fall snow

Ahhh... I used to live in Colorado, so every time you do one of these builds, I always miss it. This turned out absolutely fantastic, all the fall foliage with the snow and the color of the water are just so visually pleasing together. And the lighting really complimented it as well, beautiful as always!
@dragonboss7995 Жыл бұрын
I absolutkey love seeing more of the mountain builds. It reminds me of the front range of colorado and it kind of has a homey feel to it. Your tressel at the end also reminds of the george town railway loop. Due to how it is a downward sloping gradient and it turns which georgetown was the first in the world to build. Amazing job as always.

That’s true craftsmanship!! in the early 80s. My dad took a couple pieces of plywood and made an entire town even had a tunnel running through the wall and back around with some of the best times of my life. We got everything at Johnny’s toy shop. they had one gentleman that overseen just the trains alone, he had the answers to everything. This is truly an amazing piece you made.

Watching this in my train room surrounded by my layout that I am building. Ballasting tip: One of the best things you can use for ballasting is a 1" foam brush. It is the perfect size for removing ballast from the rails and ties, and the beveled edge is perfect for the ballast slope.

You call it "good." I call it excellent! I can't wait to see your follow-up additions of monsters, structures, and figures to fill out your simple (but very effective) landscape in future videos. That said, it is too bad that you were not able to use as much track as you initially wanted to use. I don't have the room for a full-on 8' X 4' model railroad layout, but doing something with electric trains was always on my "Bucket List." This 'diorama' approach just might be the solution for me. As always, thanks for sharing this with us!

I love your videos, man. I'm not a diorama person myself mainly due to not having any space for a workshop. These videos have excellent story-telling and the fact that you explain the processes with some humour and character really is soothing to listen to. I really hope you are doing well in this world, whether it be your social life or your well-being, you really deserve to be a happy person as these dioramas and hobby builds truly are something. I don't normally subscribe to people on KZbin, but you sir are one of the few things that actually entertain me with interest and gratification. For this, I am subscribing to your channel as a way to say thank you for these motivating works.

Fantastic build! It was good to see your thought process around track planning. Working on my layout, I've run into the same problems of fitting everything in that I want. I gotta go get at least one of those shirts. Those mech designs are rad!
