Awesome to see a guinea pig Taos...🤣🔊... My local car stereo shop said they don't touch German shit..lol so I was kinda apprehensive on installing my system I had in my 2021 trailblazer RS that got totaled out after just installing it...ugh.. but got a loaded black SEL on the crazy looking 19" and I feel blessed to own this after all that mess.. PS my system is a full setup big cab M4 four channel amp 150 RMS at 4 ohms..and a cab 45 bridged at .05 ohm static on two skar audio VXF 12" 1500 RMS monsters.. and a XS 7500 AGM battery in the back and two XS power super capacitors 630 farad each.. one in front spot . One in back at the amp.. it was fuckin insane before it got trailblazer got smashed no voltage drop at full tilt...😎🔊🔊!!! Now I have a better 6 rib pulley on that alternator in the Taos.. the blazer had 4 rib serpentine belt so no mod to the alternator could be possible..so upgrade achieved by default lol just thought I'd share my enthusiasm bro love the video now I know it won't melt down lmao 🤣🔥

Get at er lol, this one's still slappin good, love these skar subs. I'll be posting a vid on some speaker upgrades in the camaro soon. Maybe I should do an overview video. Alpine m12 on 4th order 10 inch, m4 running type r all around, (thinking about going hertz) factory head unit and TWK 88 processor. I gotta say go with a processor on your next install. Thanks for the enthusiasm, looking forward to hear how your taos setup goes.

I'll post a video up when I get it done.. yeah I'll probably run a EQ after my Audio control LC7 i .. probably get the matchy audio control one lol .. I gotta order up some more power wire now and plan out my amp rack / battery bank under the rear floor.. I think I'll raise the floor a little to accommodate the 7" battery thickness.. and keep the spare tire too.. it work out in the blazer.. but this will be more work to fit.. probably build a birch box and stain it black with a little wood grain showing though...🤔

have recently become interested in adding a subwoofer into a tiguanm. My current tiguan has a 12volt outlet in the back . Do you think I can plug the power into the outlet in the back instead having to create holes through the firewall

Hey did you ever find a factory harness for the back sub connector? Do you think I can just use the 2 blue and connect those straight to a 12inch sub?

Defiantly gonna be quieter then stock if you u were to install without an amp.

@ZED Performance ok. You mention in the video that you ran just the blue indicated wires from that stock harness and plugged those in...do you recall where you plugged them in? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Just got the sel and want to transfer my old amp and sub but pretty unfamiliar with stereo installs

@@dc40907 on this unit they fed into the lc2i which converts them into a good line level output for the amp.

You would just tie into one of the door speakers, would be good to confirm it's full range.

Can you walk us through how to tie into the door speakers? What color cable is it? Crutchfield still doesn’t have a master sheet for it.

Unfortunately no I don't. Maybe check with crutch field and see if they've got a taos in for tear down yet.
