How to build a retaining wall on hill - This yard had some serious erosion from water run off and drainage issues. We built this retaining wall to direct the water. Then put down large rock and fabric to prevent erosion.

I think it would be great to see a short video of the water flowing to demonstrate the great job you guys did.

looks great…nice video, very well narrated, speaking slow enough to be understood while sounding natural (not reading something written) explaining everything and , of course, that SE PA accent! carry on

What a work of Art! Love this type of engineering. What type of commercial education is required? Your Song Birds sound beatiful.

Thank you, Most manufacturers offer certification classes and there's also a NCMA cert.

I wish I could work with you for a couple of months to learn your ways, I would love to add these services to my landscaping business but I have never done anything like this. So cool though, anyway to truly learn how to do retaining walls, sitting walls, paver patios, etc??? Is there a good course I can take or a short apprenticeship?

Thanks Sean! Btw, do you charge extra when the neighbour fallows you along and “consults” with you? 😊

Looks great. Silly question maybe, but which house was your customer? To the left or the right of the new wall, if facing the houses from the street?
@srmcontracting2 ай бұрын
Thanks, Customer was to the left (back of the wall)

i didn’t see any type of locking system on the stone blocks, were they siliconed in place? or is the crushed stone the only thing holding them together? usually stones have a raised edge that helps them lock in looks great! awesome job

Thank you, these blocks have the raised edge on the bottom. The crushed stone helps as well.

I have a similar issue. Do you advise if pictures were provided? I desperately need someone who actually knows what they are doing/talking about.
