Multiple pictures taken from the same place (on a tripod) as the build progressed, then the pictures put after one another in premiere, then camera movement effect added afterwards. Amazing what you can do simply using pictures!

Carpet actually doesn't matter too much. Studio builders often just make the floors wood so the audio engineers have an easier time moving from analogue gear to the computer. I forget the exact reasoning behind it but after 3 weeks of listening to and reading about building studios, I don't have the energy to go back and find out lol
@officiallyazzam3 жыл бұрын
the shots of the room, were they built in a room building software or were they actually shot from the camera?
@simusvisuals3 жыл бұрын
I think it's actual footage from the room - cut together with added camera shake in post. At least that's how I'd approach it... feel free to correct me :D

Hi guys, it's been a while! I'm eagerly waiting for the short film. It's funny to see that I've had pretty much the same parts on my shopping list.. I wouldn't call it "on a budget" though, haha! You should definitely consider upgrading to Finnish Genelec speakers when you have the spare money ^_^

Great job guys! Few years back, nobody would have trust a TV monitor for color grading, but I guess that now contrasts aren't so bad no more. Do you output your image with a decklink card from your computer?

Just a heads up. If you’re using GPUs for commercial purposes, you are not allowed to use the consumer models. It is against the license agreement you implicitly agree to when you purchase it. Consider a quadro, they’re pricey but you’re allowed to use them for film industry applications.

Not sure about your speaker positioning though- 'for the best sound possible the speakers should be pulled a bit back from the wall'. Not true. You either want them far enough away from the wall that the sound reflections aren't an issue or close enough that acoustic reflections are still coherent to the speaker. Less than 1.5m but more than 0.3m (your positioning) is probably the worst of both worlds.
I don't know why am i watching this video, i use my 15k₹ mobile for editing 😐
