For the light in the well house, get a thermostatic plug and plug it into that. It will turn it on when the temp goes to a certain degree and then back off when it goes back up. As long as you have power to it, it will work wonderfully and isn't on when not needed. Looking good and God bless.

Jeremy , just take your large 2' framing square and slide the 24" End ,up the wall until the 16" side ,planes out with the top of the rafter. Then use that square to mark each end And snap a chaulkline ontop..plumb straight down And cut the rafter ends straight down (plumb) @5.5" down. Bob it horizontally (perpendicular to plums line :use speedsquare for that) Put a2x6 fascia on it And build closed vented soffets to add ventilation to the shed. Use ridge vent !

That’d be suitable for venting an attic space but it looks like this shed won’t have any ceiling. If you put a soffit & ridge vents in here, any heating (as mentioned in the vid) will just disappear out that vent. It’s a tricky situation.

Personally I like the way he cut the end of the rafters that’s how I do it. There’s houses built around here that are done this way also. In the long run it helps prevent water damage especially if your not using gutters.
