Being female I never really was interested in doing it MYSELF so I hear the terms "jig that off" and I know basically what it means but never could figure out what the thing was nor could I find it in a hardware store. Still, there is much to be said for the sounds and narration. Takes me back to my youth! Thank you.

Good to see you back on here. I forgot to tell you guys my idea for that big concrete "bunker looking" building. That was like 6 months ago so you've probably already done something with it. In case you havent... I was going to suggest a BIG cantilever over the sides of this building for a couple of reasons. 1. Its small so this would give you more space upstairs and 2. snow protection/sun protection for the first floor doors and entry. Thats really all I wanted to tell you. Seeing your shed video made me think of it. I have a 14 acre place in south central PA and I've enjoyed watch you guys for a couple of years. I am a carpenter and former Coast Guardsmen. I love the tricks and techniques that you use to get things done while youre alone. Stay radical.

Built my first woodshed two years ago after having 5 large oaks taken down, and needing a space to dry the firewood. I meshed several different methods together and it turned out looking like a professional built it! The key is, make a plan and start. You’ll learn as you go. If you can make things square and level, you have the whole process licked. I threw down deck blocks and 2x6’s and went after it. A week later I have a shed that holds 6 cords and looks damn good while doing it. Dave, I did use your method of setting a nail to hold the board to hold the studs while leveling and nailing. That was a life saver as I didn’t have any help. Appreciated that tip.

Good job. Just how I do it. Same deal, ONE MAN (PERSON) show. Work smart, efficient and safe. Like the layout. People suffer trying to get them square with out a fixed corner. Crazy to try it. Cut the right dimensions and it has to work out. Used 3,4,5 all my life or multiples if you have help, never. Some cut offs work back in. Not too much scrap. Always a good cooking fire at the end. Like the HAMMER. BRAND? Those ring nails take a good lick. Use them often. They don't back out. Local mill is so important. I support them all I can. Got posts for three projects now. I have a south of the border garage with a hillbilly roof. Hope it doesn't rain. Cloudy skies and roll plastic. All good Dave, from east Kentucky USA, keep a sharp saw. Square true level and plumb

Nice brother. Been a long time since i've commented. I'm gonna build your exact wood shed for the same purpose. We just finished our outhouse, and we built it really nice inside (not yet completed) and out, so my princess daughters would feel comfortable using it. 6.5' hole, and the first 4 feet was sandstone. The jackhammer did the trick. Took all day - here in northern AZ. We used your wife's recent green door outhouse as our base example. I had watched your outhouse builds a few years back. I resourced 75% of the wood off of construction jobsites, pieces that were gonna be throw away. Didnt take long to find the mostly straight pieces we needed. You'd be proud.
