How To Build A Shelf Pin Drilling Guide || Woodworking Shop Jigs

In this video I build a shelf pin drilling guide jig to perfectly drill shelf pin holes in a tv stand project. This woodworking jig will prevent any rocking or misaligned shelf pins holes and will support your shelves perfectly. The shelf pin jig also has 4 different offsets to be able to handle any woodworking project that utilizes shelves. I used scrap 1/2 MDF for the material and it only took a few minutes in the shop to save a ton of time drilling shelf pins by hand. This is a super easy woodworking jig to make and will save you a ton of time and headache.

Very helpful. My “carpenter built built ins and didn’t put the pin holes in for shelves. 😮. Building this jig will be helpful. Since I can’t use an edge guide on the back side would flipping the jig help, only putting a guide on one side??

Nice jig. 2 questions. Are those special drill bits and if so where do you get them. Also looks like good shop apron. Where is that available. Thanks.
