Villains: DOOM, Magneto, Sentinel, Juggernaut, Sabretooth, Venom, Omega Red. Cosmic villains: Shuma Gorath, Thanos, Blackheart.

I run cyclops, anti air assist, psylock anti air, and captain commando anti air, is this team good? I have a ton of fun with them

in terms of top tier, no. those teams pretty much are set in stone with very small wiggle room. in mid/low tiers, all 3 are usually not allowed because of their strong anti air assists (and cyclops is top tier). it’s kind of a pickle if you wanna play fair, but it IS a fun team.

Personally, I recommend getting a character with a projectile assist like Sabertooth,Gambit or War Machine to cover him as you approach your opponent, and maybe a combo extension assist like Akuma, Ken, or anyi-air Cyclops to aid in combos and rushdown. Though he's faster on the ground than Zangief or Blackheart, Jin is a bit slow and has attacks that have some wind-up , so cover his weaknesses accordingly.

The game basically becomes doing what boring people do best, just play for maximum efficiency. The game boils down to who can play the most efficient. The Evo tournament comes around and a guy wins it with mid to lower tier characters, everyone sits there and is dumbfounded, well you got to be more creative and think outside the box to get it done.
