I'm so happy that right when I decide to get a Dreamcast and get back into Mvc2, I find this video. This is amazing work. Of course, I struggled with the ROM back in the day, and I haven't yet tested if I can do it based off your instruction, but what I do know is that I already understand quite a bit more about the mechanics of it than I ever have before. So, thank you! I feel like if this video existed before, I may not have ever put the game down to begin with. But my timing with the df air dash was all wrong, and I can see that now bc of your video.

I remembered spending my summer in 2009 practicing the infinite i was grinding so hard on PS3 i remembered getting infinited for the first time and thought it was cool! i read those 2006 eventhubs and game FAQs forums followed by watching DJB13 combo bible collection videos... man I was barely doing the rom i was too fast or too slow no rhythm I got out of school headed straight home, and I did it on my PS3 controller it just clicked lol I was trying to do it on cable at first which was too hard not like cap commando or black heart hard but still... i have a video on my page (years later) I play on stick now but definitely have that execution heavy magneto.... I won't forget the struggle

After like 9 years.....I finally got it. It's not perfect but I'm semi able to do it with an xbox controller.... I had a random light bulb moment....."why dont i just map my right trigger to lp hp? So i can dash with just the right trigger. Made it so much easier

Buy the 30 mm for the main 6 action buttons, but those are sanwa buttons, they are tournament grade, u dont like them?

1.i play it on the xbox 360, i believe its no longer available to download after they had license issue. But mvc2 is also ok fightcade2 free if you google it and youtube it, 1.What console do you play on? 3. Sf5 is a very good game to learn fighting game, be sure to learn all the guestures and inputs, knowing how to do all the move

And I heard a rumour that MvC2 will be re-RE-released on the new gen consoles along with all the other games in the VS. series. 3. I already play Street Fighter V, Guilty Gear, and some other fighting games already so I do know the basic fundamentals, but thanks.

Really appreciate the visual and sound differences that you have demonstrated between performing this loop at different height segments, it's extremely important to having a fluid grasp over this mechanic. One question for you - what is your ideal finisher? Is there a sweet spot here to get an air grab? One more question, is 5HK xx 63214LK still a thing like it was in X-Men vs. SF?

Oh That xmen combo doesnt work in mvc2. For the finisher, u can go for another reset, or to for hi/LO on them, or block and bait an asssit and see if u can go for a double snap back, usually u get an idea after playing the person a few rounds

Any idea on where I need to refine? 2lk, 2hp, sj.5HK, ADDF, j.3LK, j.5MK, sj.5Lk, sj.5MK, ADDF, j.3LK, j.5MK... And repeat from there. I find the j.5lk j.5mk after the first ADDF to make or break the loop. Also, what is the ideal pathway for Cyclops AA assist, and Dr. Doom AA assist?

I think is timing, once u get the timing down; u can control the loop better, for cyclops u can do hp hk and slide kick one, not sure if u seen that one, for doom i don see ppl using it with mag that much, maybe strider or other block damage teams, i usually use Magneto, cyclops and cable Sometimes psylock n sent

You have very good observation 👍, although sanwa are super popular and i would recommend it to most people, i personally dont use sanwa’s, these are hayabusa buttons, they are my main goto buttons. I like buttons to be very loose.
