Planning a trade show or bridal show booth?
We have been doing it wrong for a decade, and we were never able to find a tutorial on this! We finally figured it out, and we're sharing our secret with you! These walls are inexpensive, easy to build, lightweight, and easy to store. We show you step by step how to make this set-up.
Thank you so much to Soundwave Events in Boise for hooking us up with lighting and gorgeous dance floors for our booth!

Those doors are now $71.86😔☹😭😭. I'm gonna have to find them elsewhere but it's a great idea for creating rooms in my spa until I can build walls. Thank you so much, I've been searching KZbin for over a week for design inspiration.

I have to tell you I have been looking for a partition wall for my laundry room. because I have nowhere safe to hide in the house if someone broke in and this is a great idea I could put a hidden wall in my laundry room and no one would ever know I was behind it. I would be safe as there is nothing in the laundry room that would clearly 👍 and I’ve been trying to figure out how I could make a false wall to hide in case someone broke in as I’m by myself and 63 years old, this would work perfectly

Thank you!! I was thinking of building something like this but with 2 ply wood and a wood structure in between and like L brackets for the feet but couldn't find any videos of it to see if something would be wrong with it. That hollow door would be way better than what I was thinking. I want to separate a room but I don't want it to be permanent. Thanks again!

Hi. Great design and very informative vid. I am considering the same kind of build but my concern is what if someone was to lean on the wall? Do you have some kind of support struts behind to prevent it toppling over? (If I build this I want to make sure it is sturdy enough to account for kids (or silly adults) leaning against it). Would love some advice - thanks in advance.

Thank you SO MUCH for this video! I'm doing a convention booth in September and I spent weeks looking up how to do this without having to actually construct heavy wooden walls. This will save me so much time and $$. Love seeing 2 ladies kick some construction ass too! Was your space for the booth 20'x10'?

The link is in the video description! And yes, our booth was 20x10. We actually have 2 booths side by side for both of our businesses. The walls could easily be tweaked to be an L-shape though if you didn't want to have the divider wall.

Hey there! Thank you so much, and we're happy that this might help you!! The sign that we ordered from Woodland Manufacturing in Boise, ID was routed out of wood. @ampersand-studios
@ampersand-studios 4 жыл бұрын
Hi Katie! If you watch at 3:28, you will see the brackets that we used to connect the walls. And yes, you could definitely customize the size that you make them... but the size of the doors are standard. So if you wanted to cut them, I suppose you could to customize the size of your wall :) Hope that helps!

How do they stand? Free or with a support ?
@ampersand-studios
@ampersand-studios 5 жыл бұрын
Karen Hey! Good question. So- the design that we did is a T shape so it stands on its own. If you wanted to do just a back wall, you’d need to build stands on the sides. A simple triangle foot would do the trick. The walls are so light, they won’t take much to build a support

Can they support added shelves?
@ampersand-studios
@ampersand-studios 5 жыл бұрын
So, since they are made out of hollow doors, there is no drywall or studs. You can hang pictures from them, but I probably wouldn't do shelves... especially if you wanted to put weight on the shelves. I would recommend getting a bookshelf or some sort of shelving unit to display in front of the walls :) Best of luck!
