Speed of sound changes! 1130fps @ 20°C and avg air pressure at sea level. Not applicable to most, but if you're in Denver, your math may be different. And hornresp is a free software difficult to learn, but it absolutely can help you figure out what these different arrangements might work best with. An opening tube is a horn and will have multiple resonance. A wider tube... not sure myself, prob similar to having an oversized ported enclosure.

I've built a t-line for 2 10s that takes up about 9 cu ft of space. I am at 600 ft elevation right now but do have land in colorado at 7500 ft elevation... your comment gives me concern lol... I've put a ton of time into this box with the math and laying it out so that it fit and all the numbers working out... I don't think I noticed a difference with my sealed box whilst up there shopping for land?

@neilhanley3468 I honestly doubt it makes much difference. If it does, you'd notice a difference on hot days too. As a lifelong patriots fan we know a bit about the ideal gas law, haha. I also never messed with those values in bassbox pro or winISD. One of these days I'll get curious and have the software in front of me lol.
