Great tip on running the adhesive vertically to allow water run off. Always learning something from you Brent. Used many of these principles and the tough blocks to build a slick storage building last year. Adopted a lot of your advice and it turned out great and withstood a hurricane and Durecho in 2024. Thanks man!

Looking forward to next video! Have always wanted to treehouse and zip lines! But alas! At 65 don't foresee it in the future! Love how you incorporated the extra lattice into railing!

Well it’s a tree with a deck and that’s smart so the little ones won’t fall a great distance hopefully avoiding broken bones, scrapes and bruises

That was my thoughts exactly. They are so young right now that I wanted something very low off the ground so they can actually get on and have fun without worrying too much about them hurting themselves. Thanks for watching.

A roof. Seriously, the platform looks good but speaking as a fellow resident of PNW (Portland), you need at least part of it covered by a roof or some form of cover.

Not a tree house. A deck next to a tree
@piratebash3684 ай бұрын
Not a well thought out comment. Video title clearly states Part 1 of 2. I'd be impressed if he built the tree house first then a deck underneath it
@sirath354 ай бұрын
@@piratebash368 not a well thought out reply. He actively states he’s not attaching it to the tree… thus it’s a deck
@piratebash3684 ай бұрын
@@sirath35so a few things to point out here. It’s part 1 of 2. It’s not finished. Let’s see what part 2 brings before we get all negative on the guy. Also a treehouse does not have to be attached to the tree in order to be a treehouse. Do some research.
@sirath354 ай бұрын
