How did you invert the top two displays? Can you simultaneously have 4 different displays (one on each tv)
@itsscottwebber10 ай бұрын
The controller allows you to rotate image on any of the 4 displays. It's a very user friendly front panel interphase. The controller I used is Video Wall option only . You can get controllers that have a Matrix /Video Wall option that will allow you to have 4 separate inputs to go to each display or switch to a single image over the 4 displays.

The two most common options for audio # 1 The controller has an audio output 3.5 mm / 1/8" that you can run to a bluetooth speaker or home theatre system. # 2 your source would also have an audio out. Hope that helps .

Looking at putting a 2x2 video wall in my bar. I can watch it as a big display or watch 4 separate games at one. Couple questions. 1. Do you need a computer for the set up or just the matrix switch? 2. What is the best way to run the TVs individually, one remote would essentially change them all which seems frustrating. 3. Could a fire stick work as an input source for the video wall?
@itsscottwebber2 жыл бұрын
Hi Jonathan , yes make sure you get a video wall / matrix controller . If it is just a video wall controller you can only have it set for one image. The controller has to have the option to run in matrix mode . With the matrix option it would give you 4 seperate inputs or more depending if you are going to have a 2 x2 configuration( 4 TVs) or 3 x 3 ect. A fire stick or Apple TV work great. and most controllers are just plug and play. You don't need a computer to run the video wall. You can run cable boxes into each input . Some cable providers have a compressed signal and may be a not perfect image if you use large displays 65" or bigger and switch to video wall mode. The image is a little pixelated up close but fine if you are a little farther away.
@kmcg1012 жыл бұрын
thanks for the video. I'm slowly learning. If I used 2 16x9 screens in portrait to display a 16x9 video, would it smush the video to accommodate the mismatched aspect ratio or is there a way to display without distorting? My goal is 2 TVs hung on a wall in portrait to simulate a view through 2 windows.

The documentations seems to say the output from the splitter is only 30hz is that correct? I also don't understand why it is splitting to 4K@30hz, is it up sampling? and if so why not let the TV do that they already have dedicated hardware to up sample which is probably better then this device can do. It does say it supports downscaling but does not specify the hz if downscales to. The last thing I want is to provide 60hz input and get my video wall running at 30hz. Can you clarify if the documentation is wrong?

@itsscottwebber3 жыл бұрын
Hi Joshua, the TV,s pretty much mount the same way upside down ,so thats straight forward. Rotating the image is done in the interface of the controller. It depends on the video wall controller you will be using , it must have the ability to rotate images ( most on the market should have that ability now) very easy to do on the Brightlink controller used in the video.You go into settings , choose the TV ( 1-4) that you want to rotate, choose rotate and thats it. Yes you can create a video wall with 2 TV's but what you have to keep in mind is aspect ratio.What you would like to achieve is 16.9 or 4K 21.9 aspect ratio. This would not be achievable with only 2 TV's unfortunatly .It will strech the image out a little too much and look a little differnt than what you're use to.If you can go to 4 TV,s you would have a much better result.

Hi Scott, thanks for taking the time to make the great video! I see you're still answering questions after a year, so I though I'd give it a try. I'm a total novice at this video wall thing, but have spent a TON of time and money doing what you have. My intent is for stage use, as I'm a musician. I'm trying to use my laptop, to play video content, through a 3X3 matrix switcher ($700 Chinese no-name), onto 9 LCD (4K) TVs. Sometimes...some of the TV's show content, but sadly, most of the time, none work at all. I get a lot of "no signal" messages. I'm using all brand new equipment, (switcher, laptop, TVs), including HDMI cables of varying lengths of 6'-15'. At this point, I'm MISERABLE and ready to give up and ditch the whole idea. If you were me...what would you think the problem is? Thanks so much!
@itsscottwebber2 жыл бұрын
Hey , sorry to hear , you are having issues. Don't throw in the towel yet ! The main issue people have with the " no signal" problem is HDMI cables . HDMI cables have ghosts in them . Some controllers and TV's have troubles making that hand shake connection. and for whatever reason some HDMI cables will just not work in that particular combination of controller and TV. I have had that issue with brand name cables and switched them out to Amazon's HDMI cables ( they seem to be good quality) and problem goes away . I would start there. Use same brand and length for all TV's . Hope this helps!
