technicaly the rubber bands are technic pieces because they are used in a lot of builds with technic pieces

Hey NickBricks123, To make a pistol which holds more ammo, say 3 or 5 ammo, you can just create a little holder above the ammo slot. If slide ammo in there, after one bullet fires, another will fall into place. Consider this and reply after you try it. Does it work? UTube83User

It's a really thick rubberband, but any rubberband with a good amount of pressure should work that won't break easily.

It did not work for me sadly. I tried to put the rubber-band in so many places.😔 I put the rubber band in the spot where if you put in the beginning but then when you were making it, you put it in a different spot. Both of them still did not work so I tried my own and they did not work. I am pretty sure I followed every step.☹️

I'm really sorry to hear that. Did you double check if the trigger works cause that should run smooth! Also, rubber band strength may vary! Once again, I'm sorry it didn't work out for you! (Also, my lego rubber band gun works really smooth, so you may wanna try that instead?)

I am pretty sure your rubber band is the same as mine but I forgot to tell you that the only things that was different is that it is not the same color, I did not but the top two layers after, and I did not put the purple rubber band

I think that any rubberband could work, but the LEGO gun is pretty hard to use without rubberbands or good sized ones.

I’m just saying that if you moved the mechanism back a bit you might be able to make a magazine that you reload from that spot that holds the one piece P.s. if possible

If your referring to reloading the ammo directly into the mech slot, that honestly is not a bad idea, although you would have to carry extra ammo for convenience!
