Love your voiceflow videos. You’re logical and articulate. Just what beginners like me need. I am a little surprised that you add capture steps to capture the user response into last-utterance as the system does that automatically. I deduced that when I noticed that you didn’t include a capture step after asking for anything else in the lead gen chatbot video.

Thanks Steve. Also, you need a capture step to capture the user input in the last utterance variable. It does not automatically do that. Once the user input value is in the last utterance variable, you can then use it as an input to the ai step.

Yes, voice flow keeps adding new features and maybe the platform has changed. However, you should be able to do everything I mentioned in the video even with the changed interface.

Thanks 🙏. Regarding the “assistants by voiceflow” , for that you would need a 50$ per month paid plan. If you are already on a paid plan then you can go to the agent settings and switch it off from there.

How do you know what type's of knowledge based info to have ready when making it for a client?

I am not sure I understand your question. The knowledge base documents need to be provided by the client or if the client has a website, then you scrape the website to create the knowledge base and then depending on what level of creativity client is looking for, you adjust the LLMs temperature in the prompt.

You need to ask the client what functionality they want the ai agent to do. Based on the functionality of the chatbot, you would need documents from where the ai can find the answers. Let’s support you are making an ai agent for a lawyer who deals in family law and corporate law. Now if the lawyer want you to create an ai agent that can answer questions for family law then you would need to upload all the documents they have on family law so the ai agent can be trained on that data and then answer questions on that. I hope it clarifies.

I am not sure I understand your question. You can use variables in the capture step to capture the uses inputs such as name, email , question etc and then using make webhook, you can send it to google sheets

Hello sir, very nice video! I hope you see my comment. Actually, I want to add a first step which is a greeting and a multiip language choices (FR, EN, AR, and more) and make the bot reply and complete the conversation in the language that the client has chosen in the first step. When the client starts asking questions, they receive replies in that language too, even if the knowledge base i added is written in a different language than they chose. for me i want to creat one bot path from start to finish and have multiple blocks for example (1-hello and choose language/2- greating in the client language/3-client start asking questions/4-bot reply from knowledge base but texts are transtaled to the client language/5-asking about the client information name-number-email/6-collecting the client information/7-verification/8-rating the client experiment/9-salutation and end chat), is it possible for the ai to translate all the messages from those blocks to the client launguage, or i should creat a path for every language, thanks you sir i hope you undestand my question.

Thanks. Regarding your question about multiple language support, I am not sure voiceflow has an inbuilt functionality for that. .However you can use ai to generate the answer in English and then use a 3rd party translation services and then connect that to the bot via api . Hope that helps.

I am not sure I understand your questions in the context to chatbots. If you question is that can you integrate WhatsApp or instagram with voiceflow to capture leads then yea you can do that but it’s not very straightforward. It would need some programming.
