Finally a video that isn’t putting ice cubes in a cooler.

I really appreciate you sharing this. I don't know anything about refrigiration, and a minimum about electric work but i'm willing to learn. Thanks a lot.

Hey, do you think it's possible to make that air conditioner to run on 12v by using a danfoss compressor? What I want to do is just run it off a solar panel in the day time without a battery.

Great explanation that some air coolers sucks room cold air to blow out of windows as exhaust. 😊 These type really sucks .

Finally, a real video dedicated to ACs besides a fake videos 🙄

That's great! Ever tried the challenge of building a small personal AC ? Along with an area isolation like a tent or something, people could be could without the need of cooling an entire room but rather the space they are???

Sounds like a good idea.

So, this won't need a drainage system?
@necronomicon-xmortis936210 ай бұрын
Its good practice to remove charging valve internals to prevent burning the seal while welding the charging valve to compressor😊

Can you fit an aircon unit to a old van refrigerator unit?
@djcranium12103 жыл бұрын
Couldn't I use a small freezer and put a fan in the front door and some air ports so it pulls the cold air out ?
@Andy-df5fj2 жыл бұрын
Yes, but you'll also need to cool the hot part (condenser) with outside air, otherwise the heat from it will offset any cooling from the front.

Hi Jason, How much are these brand-new compressors?
@jaysjetskis6 ай бұрын
Cheap . Around 80 quid

I initially thought "you ain't gonna get jack shit cooling out of that" ...then I saw you were using 2 fridge compressors & hence 1/2 horse power total ...you have my attention :-)
@phil955i5 жыл бұрын
I built something very similar about 25 years ago but using only 1 fridge compressor (& a small one at that) -it didn't work & someone who knew much more than me about refrigeration at the time said that I'd need at least 3hp to get any decent cooling so I''m interested to see your progress :-)
@jaysjetskis5 жыл бұрын
Im going to drive a little more pressure through them than was designed so should have a good kw. :-)

@@jaysjetskis OK sounds interesting, what are you going to run it on, R407C maybe?
@joeziahbabb3 жыл бұрын
Should have put the compressors and condenser in an external assembly or some housing so the only thing you would have coming though the window or opening would be the refrigerant lines and some electrical?
@MrBassman913 жыл бұрын
You are basically describing a standard 'split system' there - basically you would have the compressors & condenser outside & piped through to the evaporator in the room, this isn't what he's trying to do here, it's just a 'light hearted' project to see if he can build a useable air conditioner on a budget
