The window seal does work if its oversized. I found it's just easier to get a squeeze tube of sealant and replace it when I use it, or a five gal. Bucket works well with there lids. Thanks for the diy project. 👍

r.o. or distilled water definitely helps. I just used a turbo kroner for the first time and learned my well water has way to much calcium and cloggs up the pump. I think I will build one of these one though.

Yes forsure, I use a RV filter to clean out and harmful chemicals and what not and have had decent luck with it so far. Thanks for tip!

Classic. We used to make these in colorado with the big yellow top tote, and it was only like 44 bucks total with all the pvc and pumps and all. We cannot believe how much profit the cloner companies upcharge heh.
@madhatterorganics99442 жыл бұрын
Right! Its insane some of these companies charging 200+$ for these.

i've never used one whats the real advantage? i do the old school peat pucks,dome ,under flc,and get a honest 90% success rate in 3-10 days some strains take right off others seem a bit stubborn and i;ve run literally 80-100 at a time. so whats the plus ? just seems like another mess and cost,great vid i really like your content,thks!!

Every one has their own way of cloning for sure, I’ve seen amazing results with this method and it’s typically 100% success. I’ve found that this is the best way for successful cloning for my self and its a nice way to be able to pick and choose which media you want to transplant into and never having to worry about over or under watering clones.

@@madhatterorganics9944 good point on the watering-i might make one for fun,when i find someting with a water tight lid thanks for the input

@@mariusadam4429 I might run a bead of silicon around the lid instead of using the window gasket, it works but i think it might be more of a pain in the ass down the road.

@@madhatterorganics9944 better yet, turn the top of the manifold down so that the nozzles are facing down. That way they still spray out horizontally and hit the roots but without the mess or need for a seal of some kind around the top of the bin. That’s how I’ve got mine set up. Works a charm, absolutely no leakage. If you’re like me, this will allow you to run the system with the lid off and have a peek at your project in action without coming into contact with a single drop of water. Great video!
