In My Lifetime The end of each cutting needs to be sliced and slightly skinned back for the cloning gel to really take. Water should not be introduced to the cloning gel nor the cutting for at least 3 days (wet perlite can be used underneath, roots will speed towards them). Doing this will force the cutting to depend on its own water source (while searching for water) and it will allow you to keep your strongest clone (all clones wont make it). It is actually easier to root a clone under a humidity dome and faster to jump start the the roots by using aeroponics.....A humidity dome helps keep the cutting, top half stay alive while rooting. Aeroponics helps you feed and develop your roots faster for transplanting. If you think this way you could bloom and flower quicker! Meaning you could cut your VEG time in half if you develop your roots faster (aeroponic) meaning you would reach your flowering height faster. NOTE: Low Stress Training in Veg will help you in cloning! O.H.D. Horticulture

All of my Basil OG is between 1A and 1E. )) I had built one out of a storage tote. Works great. Costs much less. H2O2 works just fine to keep the system pathogen-free. No PH-ing necessary. Just keep the water clean and cool and do not allow any power interruptions. The gel doesn't do anything to help the cuttings root in this system. It gets rinsed off right away. In any case, you can stick your freshly cut clones into a slice of aloe vera and keep them in the pulp for a couple of minutes before planting them. The results are great.

I propagate many cuttings with water in a clear container, and as roots develop, they do not seem to be bothered by the transparent container. Hi. Just watched your video for the first time. I have a few questions (which may have already been asked/answered further down in the comment section so sorry if they have). 1) Did you use a plastic cover/propagator lid to maintain higher humidity around the leaves of the cuttings? 2) Could using a heating mat underneath the reservoir tank have helped to speed up rooting? 3) Likewise for supplemental lighting from for example T5 fluorescents, perhaps would have activated faster growth and therefore speeding up development of roots on the cuttings? Many thanks for any feedback that you can give me!

But I never got to see them, cause they were in the plant room. 😆 its sense down, and we dont have anymore house plants , cause we have 3 cats.. Got sick of all the messes.. And the walls aren't good enough for plant shelves.. 😆 I just stick to outside gardening now. Which is better for my sane-ness. Caring for plants inside and outside is too much for me. Not a bad video. Somethings are not necessary. And somethings you didn't mention. I've been cloning with aero for about 10 years now. I purchased my first aero cloner. Then I built 4 more. I grow with aeroponics also. No soil. I built 4 aero systems to grow with. Each system consists of 2, 21 site grow chambers with 1 reservoir. When I built my aero cloners, I made them with 21 grow site's also. I keep all 5 of my aero cloners running all the time. I run my aero systems on a 2 week rotation. Which means I harvest one system ( 42 plants ) every 2 weeks. Which in turn means I need 42 clones every 2 weeks. To keep the 2 week rotation going. This is how I would start my clones. First off I have 4 different mother plants. I start by taking clones off of one mother. I will take a clone and put it in a cup of water. Untill I have 10 clones in the cup. I already have just plain tap water in the aero cloner. And it is running. And all the grow sites have inserts in them, so the water doesn't spray everywhere. I take one clone out of the cup and cut the end of the clone again and put it into a insert and install it into the cloner. Then I do the same thing with the next 9. Until the cup is my. Now if I would have taken those 10 clones and just sat them on the floor. The ends start closing up and the clones will start dieing. And by the time I get those 10 clones in the cloner, they would look dead and maybe one of them would root. Like I said I use just plain tap water no gel no nothing. So now I take the balance of the clones I need to fill up 2 cloners ( 42 clones ). And I do the same thing, put them in the cup. Cut the ends and into the cloner. In 5 days I start getting roots and in 10 days they ALL have roots. I let them go for 17 days to establish some roots. Then they get transferred into one of my aero systems to grow. Straight into 12/12. No veg. Like I stated I've been doing this for 10 years. And I have a 100 percent success rate. EVERYTIME. I sell hundreds of clones every month. And have never had any complaints or returns. The most important thing is that you have to keep the ( plain tap water ) under 70 degrees. If you do that you will not get any kind of mold. Another very important thing is NEVER and I mean NEVER use a humidity dome with a aero cloner. You will always get mold at the base of your stem by the insert. I don't care what any moron might say don't do it. You will be sorry. Anyway good luck to everyone. Later.. ASS OG.. AeroSystemsSea OfGreen..

@@kevingibson7654 Glad to hear you are giving it a try. You really don't want the stem's of your clones in the water. I'm sure you didn't mean to say that. But I know what you mean. When I take my clones I try and keep them 5 to 6 inch's long. Then I put about a inch and a half sticking down into the cloner. Then the water in the cloner is about 5 to 6 inch's below that. And then the pump sprays the water up on to the stems. And keep your pump running 24/7. I'm going to sent you another comment in a second on how and where I learned all this. I just got to find it. Good luck bro.
@assog57373 жыл бұрын
@@kevingibson7654 Ok bro, many many years ago this is who I learned alot of information on LPA (low pressure aeroponics) from. What it is is this guy's grow diary on a cannabis forum. This guy has one of the coolest home setups I have ever seen. He explains EVERYTHING with hundreds of pictures. Its a very long read. But he teaches you how to build everything. How to grow. And how to fix things if shit happens. This is the best and only thing that I've been able to find that explains EVERYTHING. I basically setup my entire indoor grow operation from his operation. I just down sized my operation. Like his aero systems have 100 grow sites. Mine only have 42. My aero systems consist of 2, 21 site grow chambers with 1 reservoir. And I have 4 systems. And I run the same 2 week rotation. So I harvest one system ( 42 plants ) every 2 weeks. Another very good thing about growing with aeroponics is, it's the cheapest way to grow indoors. Many years ago when I wanted to start growing indoors. I did a cost analyst on everyway you could grow indoors in soil. And I lost my ass big time on everyway. Due to electricity and LABOR. Labor is what put everything into the negative. Another thing i did when I built my aero systems is. I built my aero systems to measure 3'x3' so I can use 1, 3'x3' led light over each system. This way I don't waste alot of energy and it saves me alot of money. Plus you have to have the led diodes over evey plant. If you don't the plants that are not directly under the diodes will only grow half as tall. You can find this guy's grow diary on ICMAG. It's a cannabis grow forum. You have to go into grow diary s and then type in PIRATES CAVE. It's a very old post, I think from 2009. So you might have to create a account to be able to pull it up. Because right now when I was looking for his post I was having a problem finding it. But then I logged in and it came right up. Anyway please keep me posted on how you do with your clones. And let me know what you think about the pirate's cave. I think it's way cool. Good luck and take care. ASS OG AeroSystemsSea OfGreen.
