That's an awesome idea!!! Build one for each side and you have a landing guide when pull up on the trailer!!! Plus, by having one on each side, it allows you to get off or onto the boat from either side!! Stay safe, my friend... This "Coronie" mess will be over before you know it!!!😂

I have to do this for a friend but I'm nervous, I just finished welding school and want to do it good. This would be my very first job. He said he just wants something simple, again I'm new to this all but I want to do a good job. His boat is a little bigger too. It doesn't have to be like multiple steps he said, just like 1 where he can pop up easier.

I would guess around 40 to 45 lbs maybe I have some now . They are a little heavy but they are super strong . You could sacrifice strength and make em a little lighter

Does Your friend have a Facebook or KZbin channel? My Dad is 74 years old and is an avid fishermen but unfortunately, lost his #1 fishing Buddy (My Mama❤️) last year. He is FINALLY ready to get back out on the water and he REALLY needs some of these custom made but there’s no way he can pay that much plus shipping; he lives in Illinois. I can send him all the measurements/dimensions necessary, as well as all of the information about his boat/trailer/motor that he would need in order to make my Dad a customized set. I know You mentioned The Outdoors Store but does HE make them for the store or work for them. Would prefer to have someone trustworthy to make him a set over buying a set of steps that are mass produced, where the attention to detail may not be as sharp as opposed to an individual.

This is really stretching the term "DIY". Maybe if you happen to own your own fabrication shop.. lol

I do have a fab shop thought 🤔 I thought DIY meant Do it yourself . Doesn't say must use PVC
