Great lesson; I started rethinking how I learn chords, I know three scales pretty well. I work on learning one scale per month and all the chrods within the scale.

That sounds like a good approach to me! This lesson teaches you to find chords as you need them, rather than learning all the shapes independently of a piece of music, but your approach is just as valid, whatever works dude :)

Ever stumbled across something that that you were looking for, at a time when you weren’t even looking for it? This is the best explanation I’ve come across. I feel so ‘rich’ now. Thanks so much 👍🏿

I would give you a 9,99/10. You are very good. I think that calculate the interval with semitones is a good way to find a major or a minor third. BUT, it is not the only way. When i began piano, my teacher taught me the design of each chords. Ex: all the WWW ( white, white, white). C-F and G are in that class. C major is C-E-G ( all whites), F. major is: F-L-C ( all whites keys again). C minor would be in the familly of WBW. C-Eflat-G (White-B-W). Once you know the desing of chords, it is really easy. Easier than count the semitones. But again, your videos are really good. Thanks for your work.

Hey Claude. Yes that is true, there are a few families you can learn, but when it comes to doing more complicated stuff down the road, being able to find the intervals makes that stuff a lot easier, whatever gets you there though, lots of ways to do it :)
