How to Build Independent Scent Work Hunting

What are some other ways you can think of that will help promote your dog to hunt more independently and not focus too much on what the handler is doing, especially if their nose is telling them the hide is somewhere else? Happy Training!

Great dog! Made it look easy ❤ This is great. I’ll do this. I’ve been presetting finds on a trail we walk, but I also randomly add a scent item when my pup is searching distracted and not paying attention to me. lol. He gets so happy when he makes a find.
