Where is the video on the making string line strait? How do you set your second stake at the end of the side walk in line with your other?

Would you put anything between the sections for spacing? Or would you just pour the next section right up against the previous one?

I poured mine right up to the last section then went back and saw cut where the sections meet to get a better look

why do you the sections 1,2,3...rather than 1,3,5...and then 2,4,6....?
